Spicy Gingerbread Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
  • 1 teaspoon molasses
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1 pinch ground allspice
  • 3 tablespoons raisins(Optional)
  • 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts(Optional)
  • Directions

  • Step 1

    Combine milk, oats, yogurt, brown sugar, flaxseed meal, molasses, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, salt, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice in a glass container.

    Refrigerate mixture 8 hours to overnight. Top with raisins and walnuts just before serving.

  • Cook's Note:

    Use regular plain yogurt instead of Greek yogurt if desired.
