Aldi is the latest supermarket to issue a food recall. The supermarket giant sells a range of sandwiches, wraps and other lunchtime snacks and food-to-go. One product from this range has been recalled.
A food recall is when there is a problem with a product meaning it should not be sold.
Instead, it is withdrawn – taken off the shelves – and customers are then asked to return the product to the store.
Here are all the details.
Aldi is recalling Eat + Go Chicken & Bacon Caesar Wrap and Eat + Go Chicken & Bacon Caesar Wrap Triple because of the possible presence of salmonella in these products.

Aldi asked customers to return the product to their nearest store where a full refund would be issued.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your co-operation,” the supermarket added.
The Food Standards Agency also commented on the food recall.
It said: “Our advice to consumers If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them.
“Instead, return them to the nearest store for a full refund.”
