If you were to make a list of the best classic snacks around, there’s a strong case for including Rice Krispies Treats at or near the top of it. But even a classic gets a little bit stale (sometimes literally) every now and then, and there’s nothing wrong with shaking things up a bit to breathe new, caramel-flavored life into an old favorite.

That seems to be the idea behind a new edition of Snap Crackle Poppers, a bite-sized-ish spin on Rice Krispies Treats that take the usual format and dip them in taste-enhancing flavors. These cubes of deliciousness have existed in Cookies ‘n Creme, Chocolate, and Vanilla flavors for a little while now. But snack-sleuthing Instagram account @SnackGator has spotted a new, decadent Caramel edition of Snap Crackle Poppers in the wild.

And it's probably the best one.Velvety caramel covering a little cub of yum- it doesn't get better than that! Head over to Walmart to grab yours – or watch for them in your favorite grocery store. These are definitely worth the hunt! 😋

The introduction of a new caramel flavor is notable because it’s probably the best flavor out there, so dipping a Rice Krispie Treat into it seems like it would make for absolutely heavenly snacking. Each box comes with ten individually wrapped Poppers. Each is only 130 calories, which seems pretty good on paper. But with each Popper only weighing one ounce, it’s not like you’re going to stop at just one of these caramel-covered delights if you have access to a full box, right?
