Cinnamony Sweet Moroccan Orange Salad

  • 1orange
  • orange juice (or lemon juice)
  • cinnamon, to taste
  • powdered sugar, to taste

  • Presentation #1 – If using a mandarin orange, peel the orange but leave intact. Carefully separate each orange segment so that the bottom is still held together by the membrane, creating a flower appearance.
  • Presentation #2 – If using a large orange, remove the skin but leave orange whole. Use a very sharp knife to cut rounds out of the orange.
  • For the flower presentation, sprinkle some orange or lemon juice over the top.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon (more or less depending on what you like).
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar (as much as you like). Do this right before serving so you can still see it.
