Sure, you could spend big bucks and order a fancy doughnut bouquet for your Valentine, but making your own will cost much less and mean way more. Dress up your douquet as much or as little as you like. Use a variety of flavors and shapes for a greater visual appeal. Or, go all-in on the doughnut (or doughnut hole) of your choice for some monochromatic magic. Either way, it’ll taste better than roses.

  • 1 cup vanilla candy coating disks (such as Wilton Candy Melts)
  • 12(11.75-in.) lollipop sticks
  • 12mini assorted doughnuts (such as Krispy Kreme mini doughnuts in a variety of flavors)
  • 5(12-in.) skewers
  • 8glazed doughnut holes
  • 6white powdered doughnuts
  • 1rubber band
  • Festive craft sticks
  • Tissue Paper
  • Ribbon

How to Make It

Step 1

Microwave candy melts in a glass measuring cup according to package directions. Dip 1 stick at a time into melted candy, 1 1/2 to 2 inches deep, and let set 5 to 10 seconds. Dip it a second time, and insert into bottom half of a mini doughnut. Place doughnut, stick side up, along doughnut box until fully set, about 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining mini doughnuts.

Step 2

Place doughnut holes and powdered doughnuts on skewers.

Step 3

Arrange doughnut sticks and skewered doughnuts into a bouquet on a sheet of parchment paper, and secure with a rubber band. Insert any remaining festive craft sticks into the bouquet. Transfer arrangement to tissue paper; wrap, and tie with a ribbon.
