Lidl recalls popular tortilla chips due to possible health risk

Supermarket Lidl recalled its Snaktastic Chilli Heatwave Tortilla Chips because they may contain ingredients that are not declared or mentioned on the label.

The company explained that because of a mis-pack, they may contain Tangy Cheese flavour Tortilla Chips.

This makes it a health risk for anyone who has an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Lidl explained: “This product may contain milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

“If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intollerance to milk, we advise you not to eat it.”
