Marci’s Cabbage Casserole
“I took this casserole to a church function and it was a hit! Easy to cut in half.With medium head of cabbage and onion. Just use 1 type of soup.Cream of Celery soup can be substituted.”
IngredientsNutrition1 largehead of cabbage1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup16 ounces shredded cheese (your choice of sharpness)8 ouncessour cream1⁄2 cupbutter1⁄2 cupmayonnaise1 largesweet onion6 ouncesFrench-fried onionssalt and pepper
DirectionsChop Cabbage and onion.Boil together 10 minutes.Strain and put back in pot.Add mayonnaise,soups, sour cream, 1/2 stick melted butter, and 8 oz. cheese.Mix well.Spray 10.5 X 14.5 casserole dish with cooking spray.Place all mixed ingredients in casserole dish.Top with 8 oz shredded cheese, and French fried onions.Drizzle 1/2 stick melted butter over top.Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.
