Marks and Spencer has a range of gifts as well as food available this Mother’s Day. As well as this, the retailer regularly releases meal deals depending on the occasion. Available from today, the Mother’s Day Family Dine In is available nationwide

For just £20, customers can pick up a roasting joint, three sharing sides as well as an indulgent dessert. 

The meal serves four people and is available in-stores only.

Shoppers have just four days to pick up the goods, and it will be gone after Sunday.

For mains, customers can pick between a British beef joint with roast beef butter, British roast chicken, tender roast lamb shoulder or an outdoor-bred British pork rib roast.

For fish options there is a lemon and herb salmon joint and there is also a Plant Kitchen chickenless roasting joint, which is vegan.

Shoppers can then pick three sides which include mashed potato, roasted potatoes, pigs in blankets or honey and orange-glaze carrots.

Braised red cabbage with Bramley apples is also on the menu as well as mature cheddar cauliflower cheese and asparagus spears. 

Fine green beans and new potatoes are also available to pick up.

There is also a huge range of pudding options and customers can pick one.

M&S’ New York cheesecake is available on the menu as well as a strawberry compote trifle and a sticky toffee pudding. 

For chocolate lovers there is a hot chocolate fudge pudding. It is gluten-free and made with ground almonds and a chocolate fudge sauce.

There is also a delicious puff pastry Bramley apple pie as well as one vegan option, the raspberry jelly terrine which is raspberry flavoured jelly with raspberries.

For those who can’t spend Mother’s Day with their mother, Marks and Spencer has also released an e-gift card. 

The retailer has a huge range of other gifts too including food and drink hampers that can be sent directly to the recipient. 

Prices start at £12 including letterbox gifts so no one has to be home to receive the delivery.

The Single Origin Chocolate Letterbox Gift consists of five bars of chocolate including different flavours and it fits through a letterbox.

Hampers include the Mother’s Day Pamper Gift Bag with alcohol as well as a candle and toiletry products and M&S’ Especially for You Bouquet with Prosecco & Chocolates Gift. 

For wine lovers, there is a case of six mixed wines while for chocolate lovers, there is a gift box packed with M&S chocolate. 

However, customers will also have to take delivery charges into consideration, although a couple of the hampers do have free standard delivery.

In other news, Morrisons also has a range of hampers that can be sent directly to the front door.

The supermarket’s afternoon tea box is perfect for the day, including a range of goodies like crips, sandwiches and scones with jam and cream.

For those wanting to add a touch of alcohol to a gift, the supermarket is also selling The Ultimate Gin Box for £39.

Morrisons also has a huge range of flower boxes which would also be a great gift to send to a loved one on Mother’s Day.

The range also includes letterbox flowers so the recipient doesn’t have to be home when the item is delivered.
