Marks and Spencer, or M&S, has been making changes to its services throughout the coronavirus pandemic. It has now launched a new food box that can be delivered for just £35. This is the full list of contents.

Marks and Spencer food halls have remained open during the coronavirus crisis.

While customers have been able to pick up their favourite food in stores, it has not been easy for some to access the shops.

To help, many supermarket chains have launched food boxes that can be delivered straight to customers’ doors.

M&S has launched food boxes ranging from £15 to £40 that cater to different dietary requirements.

These include the Essentials Food Box, the Vegetarian Essentials Food Box, the Made Without Wheat Food Box and the Traditional Meals Food Box.

Customers can also pick up basics with the Seasonal Fruit Box and the Classic Vegetable Food Box.

The retailer has now introduced the M&S British Meat Summer Food Box.

The hamper is full of meat items perfect for a barbecue or picnic in the sunny weather.

The package can be ordered for just £35 on the Marks and Spencer website.

While the contents may vary, Marks and Spencer explained what should be in every box.

The retailer added the package is intended to feed the family during summer celebrations.

Describing the box, its website said: “Whether you’re cooking up your family’s favourite brekkie, heading out for a picnic or planning the ultimate barbecue, make every moment this summer truly delicious with our 100 percent British Meat Summer Food Box.

“The box is filled with M&S Select Farms meat, sourced from British farmers we know and trust, including pork sausages, Wiltshire ham, Aberdeen Angus beef burgers and more.”

Those hoping to pick up a box can get it the next day with nominated day delivery, which costs £4.99.

Shoppers can order a maximum of two British Meat Boxes at one time.
