My Perfected Vegetable Beef Soup

INGREDIENTS

  • 2lbshamburger meat
  • 1mediumonion, chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) can beef consomme soup
  • 1 (28 ounce) bottle tomato juice or(28 ounce) bottlev- 8 juice
  • 3 (15 ounce) cans mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole corn, drained
  • 1tablespoondried parsley
  • 1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 1teaspoonsalt
  • 1teaspoonblack pepper
  • 1tablespoonhot sauce
  • 1 -2tablespoonmargarine

    DIRECTIONS

  • Chop onions and brown them the hamburger meat, drain any fat.
  • Add all the spices, cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Add the beef consomme soup, you can use beef stock and tomato juice. I prefer V-8 for my soup. You may not want to add the whole bottle of juice, it depends on how thick you want the soup.
  • Then add all of the rest of the ingredients.
  • Simmer on a low heat for about 2 hours.
  • Serve with crackers or cornbread.
