Takeaway: How to make McDonald’s, KFC and Nando’s at home
Following government advice, Nando’s restaurants closed last month to comply with social distancing rules.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues, all restaurants in the UK have been asked to stay closed.
However, fast food brands are allowed to offer takeaway services and Nando’s will now do this from a select number of branches.
A reduced menu will be available to order from behind closed doors.
Which restaurants are open?
Six branches in the UK are now taking orders for delivery.
This includes four restaurants in London and two in Manchester.
A reduced menu will be available to order and will include favourites such as PERi-PERi chicken wings, halloumi and PERi chips.
All orders will be taken for delivery only so Britons can not drop-in or collect food items.
The service will be run exclusively by the online delivery company, Deliveroo.
Starting this week, deliveries can be made from the selected restaurants on the Deliveroo app.
Nando’s fans in other parts of the country could also be in for a treat soon as this is part of a gradual re-opening process.

Members of staff in the selected stores will practice social distancing rules while operating.
Drivers will also make an effort to stick to social distancing when making deliveries.
Last week, seven branches in London, Manchester and Dublin opened their kitchens to help support NHS workers.
The selected restaurants were opened to make meals that have been served up to NHS staff.
Across all of the restaurants, 1,700 meals have been prepared each day which have been delivered to NHS and key workers.
These have been given directly to staff at local hospitals and charities.
These branches will continue to do this and drop meals outside hospitals between 6pm and 9pm each day.
