Reese’s New Giant, Peanut Buttery Chocolate Bunny Is the Only Thing We Want In Our Easter Baskets

Reese's Peanut Butter Bunny

Easter, everyone’s favorite springtime candy holiday, is still a little over 40 days away, but that hasn’t stopped the ongoing rollout of seasonal candy from revving up. While we’ve already seen some offerings that seemingly aim to terrify children, I am pleased to report that there is in fact some good new Easter candy that’s already been spotted in the wild.

Case in point: a Reese’s chocolate Easter bunny spotted by @SnacksFromAround. But not just some weak Easter bunny made from hollow chocolate with a hint of peanut butter taste. We’re talking about a treat that’s solid all the way through, giving you what truly amounts to three dimensions of tasty Reese’s chocolate.

We are in Easter more lol! Found these at @giantfoodstores and thought they looked cute. Plus never seen this packaging and the Hershey bunny. That’s a lot of thick chocolate! . . Tag a friend Turn notifications on . . . . . #chocolate #bunny #easter #foodie #snacks #foodreview

No longer will we have to celebrate Easter with chocolate bunnies whose structural integrity fails after just one bite. No longer will we have to eat chocolate bunnies without any satisfying peanut butter filling. No longer will we feel self-conscious about opening up a second Reese’s easter egg or one of those tiny bunnies that they make, because these 4.25-ounce chocolate bunnies are large enough to satisfy even the strongest of sweet tooths. We have arrived at the promised land.

If for whatever reason you prefer plain old milk chocolate to the delicious, undefeated combination of peanut butter and chocolate, you’re in luck too. The post suggests that there’ll be a similarly non-hollow Hershey’s bunny, in case that’s your thing. It’s objectively the wrong choice when a Reese’s themed option is also available, but hey it’s a free country.

From the caption on the Instagram post, it sounds like these big, bounteous bunnies are available (fittingly enough) at a place called Giant Food Stores. We also found them online at Target for $4.29 and FiveBelow.com for $5. But given that this isn’t exactly a niche product and there’s still plenty of time to stock up on Easter candy, I wouldn’t be worried about having to look too hard for it as we get closer to pastel season. Just don’t forget to stock up on a bunch of these things to make up for the years of giant peanut butter chocolate bunny deprivation we’ve all had to endure.
