Food recall warnings have been shared for items which are sold in popular supermarkets. Tesco, Asda and Morrisons have recalled items due to health and allergy fears.

Eat Real Quinoa Puffs

The snack was stocked in Tesco and Morrisons and has been recalled due to undeclared milk.

A Tesco statement said: “Eat Real is recalling certain batches of their white cheddar quinoa puffs. This is because they may contain milk which isn’t stated on the packaging.”

All batches with the best before dates up to and including May 2022 are affected.

This applies to the flavours Eat Real Quinoa Puffs Meditterranean, Eat Real Quinoa Puffs White Cheddar and Eat Real Quinoa and Kale Puffs Jalapeno and Cheddar.

Anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk should return them to stores for a refund.

Tesco Cottage Pie baby food

The baby food may contain some pieces of plastic and should not be given to young children.

A Tesco statement said: “We’ve been made aware that due to a manufacturing error, pots of Tesco Cottage Pie baby food 190g, with a best before date of 12/06/2022, may contain small pieces of blue plastic.

“Please do not feed the affected product to your child.

“Instead, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.”

Anyone who has bought the product should check for the best before date of June 12, 2022 and return if necessary.

Asda Frozen Vegan Mushroom and Leek Pie

Asda has an ongoing warning for the frozen pie as it contains undeclared allergens.

The product may have small amounts of milk constituents which are not detailed on the ingredient list.

Anyone who has bought the product can return it to stores for a full refund.

All date codes are affected and the packs have the barcode 505717223369.

Cahill’s Original Irish Porter Cheddar

The cheese product, available most widely online, has been recalled as it could contain Listeria monocytogenes.

This can cause symptoms similar to flu such as muscle aches, chills and the feeling of being sick.

The affected batch numbers are 21118 with the best before date September 28, 2021.

Point of sale notices are displayed where the product is sold and shoppers can return affected batches.
