  • 1 cupwhite sugar
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonlime juice
  • 14 cuphoisin sauce
  • 14 cupheavy cream
  • kosher salt (to taste)
  • Directions

  • Add sugar, vanilla and water to a pot and boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and has thickened (about 10 minutes).
  • Add the soy sauce, lime juice, hoisin sauce, heavy cream and let it come up to a boil again and then reduce the heat to low and let simmer for another 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let the sauce cool.
  • Pour over piping hot wings and toss and then sprinkle with kosher salt.
  • Enjoy!
