A Crumble of Peaches, United States Birthday Celebration

Ingredients

  1. Crust
  2. 1-1/2 cups crushed honey graham crackers
  3. 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
  4. 1 stick butter melted
  5. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  6. 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  7. 1 cup dark brown sugar
  8. 3 extra large eggs
  9. Filling
  10. 5 large fresh peaches
  11. 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  12. 1 cup brown brown sugar
  13. 1 stick butter
  14. 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  15. 1 cup peach brandy
  16. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  17. Crumble
  18. 1-1/2 cups All purpose flour
  19. 1 cup packed Brown sugar
  20. 1 stick Butter softened
  21. 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  22. 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Steps

  1. Preheat oven 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Crush the crackers, mix in the brown sugar, and melted butter.

  2. Press the cracker mixture into a pie pan. Bake in oven 25-30 minutes.

  3. Mix the cream cheese, sugar, and eggs.

  4. Pour this cream cheese mixture over the Graham cracker crust and spread evenly.

  5. Melt butter in a pot, with brown sugar, add the vanilla. Peel and destone the peaches. Slice the peaches and sprinkle with salt.

  6. Add the sliced peaches, allow to cook down. Add the flour and stir in. The pie crust should be done take out and allow to cool and set.

  7. When the peaches are thickened by cooking down. Allow to cool. Mix the crumble ingredients, leaving into crumbly pieces, and set aside.

  8. Add the filling to the pie crust. Spread out evenly. Add the crumble mixture to the top. Take a fork and take it partially into the filling and topping and tremor it just a couple of times randomly. This way some of the crumble mixes into the filling.

  9. Bake in oven 375 degrees Fahrenheit for, 25-30 minutes. Take out of oven and rest.
