Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb Breakfast Sausage
- 10 Eggs, Beaten
- 3 cups Milk
- 2 tsp Dry Mustard
- 1 tsp Salt
- 6 cups Cubed Bread
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 cup Green Onion, Thinly Sliced (Optional)
- 1 Tomato, Seeded and Chopped (Optional)
Steps
Preheat oven to 325.
Brown sausage in a large skillet over med-high heat till crumbled and cooked through.
In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, dry mustard & salt. Stir well to combine.
In a buttered 9 X 13 baking dish put half the bread in the bottom.
Sprinkle bread with half the pepper. Then evenly add half of the cheese, sausage & any of the optional items.
Make another layer using the other half of the bread, pepper, cheese, sausage & optional items.
Pour egg mixture evenly over the entire dish then place into heated oven.
