Brownies

Not sure where I got this … they’re really good though!

Ingredients

  1. Brownies
  2. 1 c Butter
  3. 2 c Sugar
  4. 2 tsp Vanilla
  5. 3/4 c Unsweetened Cocoa
  6. 1 c Flour
  7. 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  8. 1/4 tsp Salt
  9. 1 c Walnuts, chopped
  10. 1 c Chocolate Chips
  11. Chocolate Buttercream:
  12. 6 Tbsp Butter
  13. 6 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa
  14. 2 Tbsp Corn Syrup
  15. 1 tsp Vanilla
  16. 2 c Powdered Sugar
  17. 4 Tbsp Cream

Steps

  1. Brownies:

  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 13x9x2″ baking dish.

  3. Melt butter in microwave, then pour into large mixing bowl.

  4. Stir in vanilla, sugar, and eggs.

  5. Add cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

  6. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

  7. Pour into baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes. Brownies are done when batter pulls away from the sides of dish.

  8. Chocolate Buttercream Frosting:

  9. Beat butter, cocoa, corn syrup, and vanilla until combined.

  10. Add in powdered sugar and cream. Beat until creamy and frost cooled brownies.
