Cheeseburger Mac

I love mac and cheese. Hamburger meat makes it that much better.

Ingredients

  1. 1 Brick Cheesemelt Cheese (ie Velveeta. I use Clancy's version)
  2. 1 Box Elbow Noodles
  3. 1 lb Hamburger Meat
  4. 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  5. 1 tbsp Garlic Salt
  6. 1/2 tbsp Pepper
  7. 1 onion diced (yellow)
  8. 1 tsp salt
  9. 1-1/2 cup milk
  10. 2 tbsp water

Steps

  1. Cut up cheese block and put directly in crock pot with milk. Crock pot on high. Takes a minimum of 20 minutes to melt cheese. Mix intermittently to prevent cheese burning to the side of the crock pot.

  2. After adding cheese to crock pot make pot of water for boiling noodles. Add salt. Cook noodles to box instructions.

  3. While cooking noodles and cheese. Brown meat with diced onion. Drain when done.

  4. Add water, Worcestershire, garlic salt, pepper. Cook until water is gone.

  5. Add noodles and meat to cheese. Mix thoroughly. If you want soupy cheese serve immediately. I like thick cheese so I let it continue to cook on low heat for about 10 minutes then serve.
