Chicken Pochero

Perfect for a rainy weather


  1. Chicken cuts
  2. Onion
  3. Garlic
  4. Tomatoes
  5. Chinese chorizo
  6. Chick peas
  7. String beans
  8. Pechay or cabbage
  9. Tomato sauce
  10. Chicken broth


  1. Heat pan with cooking oil then fry chicken for 2 mins in both sides. Set aside

  2. Saute garlic and onion, add the slices of chinese chorizo and diced tomatoes and the cooked chicken

  3. Pour in the tomato sauce and chicken broth. Add water if needed. Let it simmer for 15 mins.

  4. Cut the potatoes into desired size and add into the mixture

  5. Add in the chick peas. Let it simmer again for 10 mins.

  6. Add the string beans and the pechay or cabbage into the mixture

  7. Let it boil. Then serve.
