Chinese Orange Chicken
My kids and I love chicken dishes and we want to try every chicken dish. We first came to love Lemon Chicken. So why not try chicken with orange sauce? So here I go, and they all love it!
- Egg Whites
- White Pepper
- Corn Starch
- Vegetable oil
- Orange juice
- Soy Sauce
- Rice wine or Cooking Wine
- Brown sugar
- Grounded ginger
- Bell Pepper
- Orange Zest
Add corn starch, white pepper in egg white. Mix thoroughly.
Coat the chicken slices in the egg white mixture then deep fry. Set aside after frying.
In a separate pan, heat 3 cups of orange juice.
Add the rice wine or cooking wine to juice.
Add an amount if grounded ginger, orange zest and brown sugar. Add more sugar if needed. Bring to a boil.
Pour in the cooked chicken slices to the orange sauce. Let it simmer.
