Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes

Ingredients

  1. (A) the cake
  2. 1 1/2 cups flour
  3. 2 cups milk
  4. 1/2 cup honey
  5. 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  6. 1 tsp baking powder
  7. 1 tsp cinnamon
  8. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  9. 1/2 cup oil
  10. 10 chopped cherries
  11. 10 chopped walnuts
  12. (B) garnish
  13. 10 halved cherries
  14. 1 tbsp honey
  15. 1 tbsp butter
  16. 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Steps

  1. Mix all the ingredients in section A and pour into 6 oiled cupcake mold.

  2. Preheat oven to 180°C then bake the cupcakes for 30-40 minutes or until fully cooked.

  3. Allow cake to rest outside oven for 30 minutes.

  4. Melt butter in pan and add honey, cinnamon and cherries. cook on low heat for 5 minutes or until softened. serve hot with the cupcakes.
