Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes
Ingredients
- (A) the cake
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup oil
- 10 chopped cherries
- 10 chopped walnuts
- (B) garnish
- 10 halved cherries
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Steps
Mix all the ingredients in section A and pour into 6 oiled cupcake mold.
Preheat oven to 180°C then bake the cupcakes for 30-40 minutes or until fully cooked.
Allow cake to rest outside oven for 30 minutes.
Melt butter in pan and add honey, cinnamon and cherries. cook on low heat for 5 minutes or until softened. serve hot with the cupcakes.
