Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 Cup Butter, Softened
- 1 1/2 Cup Sugar, White Granulated
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 3/4 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts, Chopped (Optional)
Pre-heat oven to 350 F. In large bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix into butter mixture until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets lined with foil.
Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, until just set. Cool slightly on cookie sheets before transferring (with spatula) to cooling racks to cool completely. Makes about 3 -4 dozen cookies.
