Garlic Thyme Steak (Gordon Ramsay)
- 7 ounces Beef Tenderloin
- 1/2 tablespoon Butter
- 1/2 tablespoon Minced garlic
- Olive oil
Take the steak out of the fridge at least 20 minutes before cooking
Start with a hot pan
Season the steak with salt and pepper and spread evenly. Large pepper grains. “Mop” up excess with the steak.
Add olive oil to pan, then put on the steak
After 30 seconds, use a pair of tongs and turn the steak over. Turn the steak every 1 minute to ensure heat is distributed evenly
To add some flavor to the steak, add butter and garlic (and thyme).
Tilt the pan and baste the steak.
Once the steak is ready, let it rest.
