Kerecek Kikil Tahu Sirih / Stir Fried Beef Tendon and Tofu

I was confused to find the right terminology for “kikil” I thought it was “cow’s skin” ? turned out to be “beef tendon” okay then, anyway, hope you like it!


  1. 150 grams beef tendon, boiled and cut
  2. 100 grams tofu, cut
  3. 2 garlics, smashed and chopped
  4. Half a tomato, cut
  5. 1 red chilli, cut
  6. Salt
  7. Pepper
  8. Chicken powder
  9. Some water
  10. Oil for frying


  1. Put the oil in a pan. Add in the garlics, stir until fragrant.

  2. Then add in the chilli amd tomato, cook until a bit soft.

  3. Then add in the tendon and tofu. Followed by some water.

  4. Then add in the seasonings. Taste test.

  5. Simmer until everything is cooked.

  6. Turn off the heat. Serve.
