This is a delicious, classic, flavoursome recipe you are sure to enjoy and love !!!
- Soy sauce
- Silk tofu
- Hoisin sauce
- Sesame oil
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Ground ginger
- Panko bread crumbs (optional)
- Flour (optional)
In a large bowl add 1 and a quarter cups of soy sauce, quarter cup of sesame oil, quarter cup of hoisin sauce, table spoon of garlic powder, table spoon of onion powder and a table spoon of ground ginger.
Cut classic tofu or tofu of choice into cubes and let the tofu sit in the mixture for 30 mins minimum, preferably over an hour.
If you wish to coat the tofu in bread crumbs dip the tofu in a small amount of flower but so there is still moisture and then panko bread crumbs, keep in mind this will make the tofu loose a lot of its flavour
Put a small amount of sesame oil in a frying pan and dry the tofu on medium heat and pour the extra sauce on top until ready. when cooked serve with rice and other ingredients you wish to serve it with and enjoy your delicious meal!!
