My gluten free version of Wendy's chicken nuggets

When I was little I used to eat those nuggets back then but now that I’m gluten free I can’t eat them anymore so now let’s get them going gluten free for good.


  1. 1 lb Ground Chicken
  2. 4 cups Gluten free flour, divided
  3. to taste Salt & Pepper,
  4. 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
  5. 2 cups Gluten free Bread Crumbs
  6. 3 cups Vegetable Oil


  1. Form bite-size nuggets with the ground chicken.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups of gluten free flour with salt and pepper.

  3. In another bowl, combine lightly beaten eggs with salt and pepper.

  4. In a third bowl, combine the remaining gluten free flour with the gluten free bread crumbs.

  5. Sprinkle generously with the pepper.

  6. Dip the chicken in the gluten free flour and salt mixture, then the egg wash, and finally the gluten free flour and wheat free breadcrumbs.

  7. Heat the oil to 350 degrees F and drop in the chicken.

  8. Cook for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

  9. Allow to rest on a paper-towel-lined rack and serve with your favorite sauce like either ketchup bleu cheese or buffalo sauce.
