Potato Barfi


  1. 2 medium size Potato
  2. 1 cup fresh Grated Coconut
  3. 3 tblspn of Ghee
  4. 25 grm Milk powder
  5. 1 cup Sugar
  6. Cardamom powder for flvr
  7. Pinch salt (balance for swtns)


  1. Mix desiccated coconut and sugar up to 15 minutes.

  2. Boil the potato, grate it and add it to the above mix.Then add cardamom powder, salt and milk powder, Mix well.

  3. Heat a non-stick pan, put the entire mixture in a pan. Don’t increase the heat. When the sugar start dissolving it becomes liquid. Better to cook it on a low flame.

  4. When mixture comes forms like a ball then add 3 spn of ghee, mix well till 1 minute. Put the mix on a greased plate.

  5. Once this comes room temperature, then you cut into diamond shape and decorate with pistachios.
