Red sauce Pasta


  1. Pasta
  2. Tomatoes
  3. Onions
  4. Garlic, Green chilli
  5. Olive oil
  6. Butter
  7. Nutmeg, Cinamon
  8. Mushrooms(optional)
  9. Pepper


  1. Make tomato puree with tomatoes garlic and chilli. (4 tomatoes for 3 people)

  2. In a pot boil water, salt, and cumin seeds. Add pasta. And take it out when done.

  3. Olive oil in pan. Add onions and once they soften, then add lots of butter. Add salt.

  4. Add mushrooms. Little Nutmeg (little, it’s very overpowering) and cinnamon (optional) (gives slight garam masala feel). Cook it till it’s mushy.

  5. Add the tomato puree and pepper. Salt as desired. Let it cook for a long time and reduce in volume. Add some ketchup if needed. (Make sure you’ve cooked it enough so that the raw taste of tomatoes goes away)

  6. Add italian seasoning to the sauce and cook for a short time.

  7. Either mix pasta with sauce or serve pasta and sauce in layers. Top it with cheese.
