Saffron Cake

Ingredients

  1. Cake mix
  2. 250 g Flour
  3. 200 g sugar
  4. 4 eggs
  5. 15 g baking powder
  6. 150 ml milk
  7. 50 ml oil
  8. Pinch salt
  9. 1 small lemon zest
  10. Saffron milk sauce
  11. 1/2 teaspoon saffron
  12. 2 cups milk
  13. 1/2 cup condensed milk
  14. 1/2 cup fresh cream

Steps

  1. In a bowl mix the eggs with sugar and some lemon zest.

  2. Add the baking powder, milk, oil, salt and a pinch of saffron.

  3. Add flour and mix well

  4. Bake it at 165 degrees for 45 min

  5. For the saffron milk sauce, mix all the ingredients over heat and then let them cool down, then put the sauce for 2 hours in the refrigerator
