Spicy Asian Cucumber Salad

Easy summer side dish.

Ingredients

  1. 6-7 Persian cucumbers
  2. 1/4 c rice vinegar
  3. 1/2 tsp sea salt
  4. 2 tsp shoyu or tamari
  5. 2 tsp agave syrup or sugar
  6. 1 tsp sesame oil
  7. 1 clove garlic, crushed
  8. 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  9. 1/2 tsp sriracha sauce, or to taste

Steps

  1. Wash and trim cucumbers. Cut into chunks. Place cucumbers in a bowl.

  2. Place remainder of ingredients in the bowl.

  3. Toss ingredients well to combine.

  4. Top with sesame seeds as a garnish if you wish. Serve.
