Spinach, Chickpea and Feta Burger w/Lemon Tahini Dressing,,?
This is a healthy alternative to a meat burger,, simple delicious and easy to make enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped thawed frozen spinach
- 1-15 oz can of chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 5 Garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup Feta cheese
- 1 tsp. Cumin
- 1 Tblsp kosher salt
- 3 Tblsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Burger rolls
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup fresh baby spinach
- Lemon Tahini Dressing
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 Tblsp of Crushed garlic
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 3 Tblsp tahini
- 1 tsp salt and black pepper
Steps
Put in blender or food processor, spinach, chickpeas, feta, Garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, cumin, 1 Tblsp oil, panko bread crumbs blend to a coarse consistency pour flour in tray make patties heat up remains oil in frying pan once warm add patties.
Tahini Dressing -put all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend till smooth put in refrigerator to chill.
Burger Buns – Toast in oven or grill pan,
Put Tahini Dressing on bun then fresh spinach, Pattie enjoy!
